The whole seminar is taught with magic tricks.
Using magic as a tool allows me to pass along the information in a fun interesting style.
If you are going to talk to at risk students it is vital to have visual reinforcements so they grasp the content.
This is not a magic show- Magic is only used as a tool to bring my point across.

Transition into High School
Statistics are alarming when it comes to the dropout rate of students in high school. Our team has created an in class seminar that is fully interactive and educational and focused on at-risk students.
This class seminar was created to encourage and motivate students to think in a different way.
We know that knowledge is power. The more knowledge they have the more options they create. To increase knowledge you must ask questions. I demonstrate how to ask questions and what happens when you don't.
The knowledge that is learned in class creates transferable skills.
Understanding transferable skills is the key to creating many options in the workforce.
When the seminar is completed they will clearly understand a different approach to why they are in school.
Their thought process and behaviour at school is not working right now but by encouraging and directing those into a different mindset should help most students to get back on track towards finding a job they will love when they graduate.
